Trojanovice village
Trojanovice is a village in the Nový Jičín district in the Moravian-Silesian Region. They are situated at the foot of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy mountains under the peaks of Noříčí mountain (1047 m above sea level) Radhošť (1129 m above sea level) , and Velký Javorník (918 m above sea level). In 1898, a chapel of Sts. Cyril and Methodius was built in Trojanovice on Radhošť. In front of the chapel stands a copy of the statue of Sts. Cyril and Methodius. In 1940, a chairlift from Ráztoka to Pustevny was put into operation, the first of its kind in the world.
